We’re excited to share the date of our 2019 AGM with our members and community partners: Monday 24th June at 6pm at RainbowYOUTH (end of Abbey Street). OUTLine has had a big year and to celebrate the milestones such as the #thankstoyou campaign and partnership with Spark, our new phone system and all of our amazing volunteers, we’d love to see you all on the 24th of June. We’ll also be electing the board members for the 2019/2020 board term. If you’re interested in joining us for an exciting time of growth at OUTLine, please submit your nomination here: https://form.jotform.co/91488813858878
To stand for the board and vote on who is on the board of OUTLine, you need to be a member. This just requires you to fill out the form here: https://form.jotform.co/91488706625871. Remember, you don’t have to be a volunteer or have recieved training to become a member of OUTLine.
Another update we’d like to share is the departure of Alexander Stevens II from his role as Chief Executive at OUTLine on the 31st May. Alexander has been given an opportunity to work in the sexual violence sector, with a specific focus on sexual violence recovery for Māori men. This is a rare opportunity to make a significance difference and one that we understand is needed in this country. The board of OUTLine wish him all the best and thank him for his contribution to OUTLine over the first half of 2019.
The board will commence hiring for the Chief Executive role after the AGM, and in the meantime, will be supporting the operations of OUTLine in a management role. We have set up subcommittees to support specific areas of work, including some up-coming community projects which we are looking forward to sharing in due course. If you’re interested in volunteering your skills on one of these working committees, we’d love to hear from you! You can email our Chairperson Moira Clunie: [email protected]
